Welcome to the Glenwood House

Redeemer is striving to be a community of hope for those who need a home. We are reimagining the Glenwood House transitioning from young adult housing to family housing. We want this house to be working to provide housing for families, so that we can work together towards a pathway to build wealth and homeownership.

We know discriminatory policies and practices – such as redlining, racial covenants, restrictive zoning, and predatory lending– have made it difficult for people of color, and especially Black and Indigenous families, to build wealth and then be able become homeowners. Nationally, white households have ten times the wealth of Black households. In Minnesota, 40% of households of color and just 25% of Black Minnesotans own their homes, compared to 75% of white households. This 50-point difference between Black and white households in Minnesota is one of the worst homeownership gaps in the country.

All housing is currently occupied. We will post when an opening is available. Thank you.
