Grace and Peace to you!
What are you reading right now? I have a note on my mobile device that holds a list of books. These are recommendations that I've gathered from conferences, coffee with friends, school and the library. I try as much as life allows to move through this list, it is true there are times I am at various points in multiple books. Sometimes these books sit for a bit but, I am indeed grateful once I open and finish a book...

Books remind me that I can be me - fully loved, no matter what and they can offer encouragement, inspiration, challenges. Books open hearts and minds. There have been many lessons learned willingly and begrudgingly. I have wrestled with ethics and values. I have found words I needed to hear, a balm for my soul. What have you uncovered within the pages of a book?

Here are a few recommendations:
The Night is Long but Light Comes in the Morning, Catherine Meeks
Nothing Personal, James Baldwin
Remind Me Again: Poems and Practices for remembering who we are, Joe Davis
The God Who Sees, Karen Gonzalez
What is God like?, Rachel Held Evans and Matthew Turner
Mother God, Teresa Kim Pecinovsky
The World is Awake, Linsey Davis

What are your recommendations?
Peace & Blessings,
Pastor Jen Collins (she/her)
