Give us your grace to overcome them, keep us from those things that harm us, and guide us in the way of salvation, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen. HYMN: Spirit of the Living God (TFF 101) THE WORD First Reading: Ezekiel 18:1-4, 25-32 1The word of the Lord came to me: 2What do you mean by repeating this proverb concerning the land of Israel, “The parents have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge”? 3As I live, says the Lord God, this proverb shall no more be used by you in Israel. 4Know that all lives are mine; the life of the parent as well as the life of the child is mine: it is only the person who sins that shall die. 25Yet you say, “The way of the Lord is unfair.” Hear now, O house of Israel: Is my way unfair? Prepare us for your heavenly banquet, nourish us with this rich food and drink, and send us forth to set tables in the midst of a suffering world, through the bread of life, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen. THE MEAL WORDS OF INSTITUTION for Thanksgiving of the Sacrament of Holy Communion: In the night in which he was betrayed ...Do this for the remembrance of me. Again, after supper, he took the cup...Do this for the remembrance of me. THE LORD’S PRAYER (traditional) Gathered into one by the Holy Spirit, we pray: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen. Receiving the promise: The body and blood of Christ given and shed for you. Eat the bread and wine. From Pastor Kelly: We give thanks for our Lutherans Restoring Creation worship! This worship calls us into our global and local partnership in the gospel of Christ recognizing our cosmic and daily dependence on creation by offering our care to our shared environment. We celebrate this gift with Minnesota Interfaith Power and Light, who hosted with RCFL the 2020 Youth N’ Power Camp teaching and learning from Harrison youth about the climate crisis and climate justice. Our holy praise and thanksgiving joins with indigenous peoples of First Nations, community partners, and Lutherans Restoring Creation making us mindful that the godly gifts land, air, and water with all its creatures are our neighbors.

Readings of the Day First Reading: Genesis 50:15-21 15 Realizing that their father was dead, Joseph’s brothers said, ‘What if Joseph still bears a grudge against us and pays us back in full for all the wrong that we did to him?’ 16 So they approached Joseph, saying, ‘Your father gave this instruction before he died, 17 “Say to Joseph: I beg you, forgive the crime of your brothers and the wrong they did in harming you.” Now therefore please forgive the crime of the servants of the God of your father.’ Joseph wept when they spoke to him. 18 Then his brothers also wept, fell down before him, and said, ‘We are here as your slaves.’ 19 But Joseph said to them, ‘Do not be afraid!
