She was 9lbs, 22 inches long, and is absolutely perfect. We’ve set up a Meal Train to bring them meals for the next month as they adjust to becoming a four-person family, and you can sign up to take them a meal here: https://mealtrain.com/k7z8k0 Bertha McKinney continues to heal well and recover, but she still needs some help with meals and there are still a few spots open in the meal train! H-Cubed: HARRISON, HEALING, HARMONY Tomorrow, Friday, March 23rd // This month, our theme is "Seasonal of Renewal" and we will explore the question, "What do you want to nurture, blossom, or bring forward in your life?" Our featured performing artist is powerhouse vocalist and songwriter Mayyadda Major. Our featured visual artist is masterful painter and art teacher Kenneth TheArtTeacher Caldwell. Emerging soul and funk ensemble, The Poetic Diaspora, will be the house band and we'll be serving free, fresh dishes from our favorite local caterer, Gerard Klass of Klassics. Come hungry! We'll feed your belly and your soul! 7:30-9:30PM Friday, March 23rd Health Commons at the Living Room 1716 Glenwood Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55405 March for Our Lives, SATURDAY, March 24, 9am-12pm at State Capitol // This Saturday, March 24th, Redeemer congregants will join the Twin Cities for the national March for Our Lives to stand up to gun violence and demand sensible gun reform for the sake of our kids and communities. Those who want to attend will meet at Redeemer at 9am for prayer and a 9:30 am Redeemer bus departure. (Yes, you read that right: We’re renting a bus, so let’s fill it up!) If you plan to attend, please register here. Fellowship Potluck THIS SUNDAY! // This Sunday, March 25th, is our monthly Fourth Sunday Potluck following worship. We invite you to bring a dish to share and join us in the fellowship hall to share a meal and get to know other congregants better. Redeemer Women’s Fellowship & Meal Making Postponed to April 7th // Due to the March for Our Lives, Redeemer’s Women’s gathering has been moved to Saturday, April 7th from 10am-1pm. We will gather together in the church kitchen and fellowship hall to prepare freezer meals for Bertha McKinney and family. Women, mark your calendar and plan to join us!
