REDEEMER Church Announcements:  

PROPHETIC: Amplifying Queer & Colorful Voices with Jennifer Knapp starts TONIGHT! // Join us THIS WEEKEND, beginning tonight, for our PROPHETIC weekend with Jennifer Knapp. All events are FREE and open to the public! Redeemer and four of our partner congregations are hosting queer Christian artist Jennifer Knapp for a Queer & Colorful weekend of free concerts, workshops, and discussions featuring local queer artists and activists of color to explore through art & community what it means for Redeemer to live faithfully and fully at the intersections of Racial and LGBTQIA+ justice and equity. Think of this as Redeemer’s official “coming out” as a queer affirming congregation. Check our website (www.redeemermpls.org/prophetic) for more information.

Tomorrow Evening, Saturday May 19, 6:30pm > Celebrating Colorful Queerness community concert at North High School Auditorium with Jennifer Knapp, Taylor Seaberg, Soul Beautiful, and Jibreel Khumas. Doors open at 6pm. ( 1500 James Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55411 - main entrance off Irving Ave.)

Fellowship Potluck Meal THIS Sunday, May 20th // Our final fellowship meal of the month will be NEXT Sunday May 20th. We’re planning for a brunch theme with biscuits and gravy and quiche! Please consider bringing a dish to share or some fruits and veggies or dessert items! Our LAST fellowship meal of the year (before the summer cookouts) will be Sunday, June 3rd. Come join us in fellowship before the year is over!

Share Your Life // Show hospitality to Japanese college students by hosting one for three weeks this August. During the day they study American culture and English at Bethel University (transportation provided).  During the evenings and weekends they become part of your family!
