Annual Fishing with Faith, August 18th // Mark your calendars and save the date -- August 18th -- for Redeemer’s annual Fishing with Faith fishing excursion with Faith Lutheran Church in Waconia! We will plan to meet at the Lake Waconia Beach between 8:30 - 9am on Saturday, August 18th. We will have a few parking passes for those who drive. We will have some doughnuts and juice for breakfast along with some snacks and water to take on the boat. We will meet at the picnic shelter near the beach, we have it reserved for the day. There is a playground and restrooms nearby. Once everyone is at the beach we will get everyone on a boat. If anyone needs a fishing license we will have the boat drivers take them to the marina in town. We will plan on fishing until around noon. At noon the boats will return to the beach where we will grill burgers and hot dogs. If you have any questions, would like more information, or want to sign-up for this year’s event, contact Amy in the church office or email Rufus Campbell at campbell.rufus@gmail.com!

First cookout sponsored by a Thrivent Action Team // Doris Branch applied for a Thrivent Action Team, which provided $250 to help purchase the food for the first Wednesday Community Cookout. What could you do with a Thrivent Action Team? Contact Mary at 612-636-5104 or development@redeemercenter.org for information.

What’s big and red and rolls all over? // It’s the new Venture North pop-up bike shop! This mobile bike shop will allow Venture North to more broadly promote healthy biking and provide additional apprenticeship opportunities. Watch for it at an event near you!
