NEW TIME to ZOOM!

We continue to host Zoom fellowship every Sunday morning, but we're changing the time! From now on, please join us at 9:30am (instead of 10:30am) for our weekly check in!
VIRTUAL WORSHIP

We will continue to host virtual worship through at least July 12, per state and synod guidance. We apologize for last week's error in noting we would begin in-person worship earlier. Stay tuned for updates.

BIBLE STUDY with PK
You are invited to listen in as Pastor Kelly walks us through First Peter in a five-week virtual Bible study based on Hostility and Hospitality: The Secret of Living in an Unfriendly World. Each Tuesday she will focus on a different section of the letter.

The First and Second Forays - "Christ in the Struggle: 1 Peter 1:1-12" and "The Struggle in Ourselves: 1 Peter 1:13-2:10" - are already on the website. Dig in!

CONGRATULATIONS, ANNA & JASON!
We offer our heartfelt congratulations to minister of education Anna Kottkamp and Jason Hoard who were married in Redeemer's courtyard on Tuesday,
June 10th.

May your marriage be filled to the brim
with joy and love!

PRAYERS of INTERCESSION
June 14, 2020 | 2nd Sunday of Pentecost

Called into Unity with one another and the whole creation, let us pray for our shared world -- [a brief silence]

Holy One, you bring us together and call us your own. Bless theologians, teachers, and preachers who remember and follow the examples of Basil the Great, Gregory of Nyssa, Gregory of Nazianzus, and the teacher Macrina. Guide Redeemer in calling their next pastor. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great.

Holy One, the whole earth is yours. Inspire us to care for what you have provided. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great.
Holy One, we have created divisions you will not own. Encourage throughout the
world, organizations, and individuals in developing lasting peace and reconciliation. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great.

Holy One, empower all whose voices go unheard, and help us respond to the pressing needs of our neighbors. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great.

Holy One, you bring all people to yourself. We give thanks for the holy people who have gon before us: Ahmaud, Arvid, Cordelia, Breonna, Delores, George, Chief Seattle, William, the Emanuel 9, and all deceased from COVID-19. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great.

Receive these prayers, O God, and those too deep for words; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
