AWAKE.
Sundays in Advent at 10:30 am
The new church year begins with a wake-up call: Christ is coming soon! In Advent’s first readings both Paul and Jesus challenge us to wake from sleep, for we know neither the day nor hour of the Lord’s coming. Isaiah proclaims the day when God will gather all people on the holy mountain and there will be no more war or suffering. Though we vigilantly watch for the promised day of salvation, we wait for what we already have: Christ comes among us as the word and meal that strengthens our faith in the promises of God.

~ There will be Advent Calendars available with invitations to try different activities each and every day of December. Resources will be made available online to print from home.
~ Do you like assembling Christmas Trees? Do you love decorating for Christmas? Then we need your help on Saturday December 3 at 2:00 pm to decorate our sanctuary for Advent. Please contact Randy Romsdahl with any questions, rromsdahl@comcast.net

Lectio Divina: Evenings of Advent Reflection
Tuesdays at 6:30 pm. November 29th, December 6th & 13th on Zoom.
Lectio Divina or Sacred Reading is the slow, repetitive reading of a sacred text that leads one to the ultimate step of resting in God. It is not a Scripture study, nor a spiritual reading. It is an invitation to take a long, loving look at Scripture. During our 45 min time, we will walk through a 4 step process each week using the text for Advent. This practice can be adapted and incorporated into individual prayer life. Zoom link here (password: Redeemer)

Northside Advent Gathering & Vespers
Wednesday, December 14th from 5:30-8:00 pm
Dinner! Sock Exchange (all ages)! Vespers and Caroling! Family Cookie Sharing! Save the date and plan to bring friends and family to an evening of fun and fellowship. Starting at 5:30 pm at Christ the River of Life. More details to come.

SUPPORTING MANDY & BLAKE DION
Picture
A number of Redeemer members have joined up to rally support to help Mandy and Blake Dion as they move into their new apartment! They're inviting us to:

1) Visit and share the GoFundMe link and make a donation to help offset the cost of their rent increase due to moving into a temporary market-rate apartment; and,
2) stay tuned for an invitation to help them move this month to their new home, less than a 1/2 mile from their RCFL home!
