In Loving Memory of their beloved daughter and Redeemer member Cheryl Branch, the Branch family invites you to join in a Celebration of Cheryl's life on Thursday, March 16th at Redeemer Lutheran Church (1800 Glenwood Ave., Mpls, MN). They will host a visitation at 2pm followed by the Celebration of Life service at 3pm and a reception afterwards. Along with prayer for her surviving family, you may help and support the Branches by helping to prepare the reception that will follow her Celebration of Life service. Please contact the church office or Pastor Jen if you'd like to help. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Cheryl Elaine Branch, you may do so here.

AUGSBURG STUDENT PROJECT: March 19, 2023
Photo Op for Future Research on Facial Recognition & Social Biases
Picture

Come learn about memory for faces with guest speaker Dr. Ben Denkinger, following worship downstairs in the fellowship hall. Light lunch and refreshments provided.

After worship (11:30 to 1:30 pm) we will have Ubah Shire, a senior at Augsburg at Redeemer. Her goal is to meet a wide range of people, particularly older people and people of color. She’s trying to set up photography sessions to get pictures of people who are 60+ to be used in future research studies. Ideally, to get a diverse group of people to join in to be photographed. Every volunteer would be eligible for a small compensation, they may also decide to have us donate their compensation to support Redeemer Lutheran Church.

TECH SUPPORT for SENIORS | Some seniors struggle with learning how to use their smartphones, computers, and other devices, and The HOME Program (through Senior Community Services and Hennepin County) can help! If you're 60+ and want to connect by phone or in-person with a tech support specialist to better learn your devices, call the Hennepin County hotline (952-767-7893) or email them to get started.
