ANNOUNCEMENTS

Redeemer Announcements | February 8, 2019

2/8/2019

Naoko Pellinen Memorial Service tomorrow at 3pm // During last week’s brutal polar vortex, Redeemer lost our beloved community member, Naoko Pellinen, in a tragic car accident. We invite everyone who knows and loves the Pellinens (or who calls Redeemer home) to join us tomorrow, Saturday February 9th at 3pm, in a celebration of Naoko’s life and to comfort and grieve with her husband, David, and their two sons Kiyoshi and Isaih, along with the rest of her family. We will have a potluck meal afterward in the fellowship hall, and we encourage you to bring a dish to share. If you’re available to help as needed with set up, directing guests, or anything else, you may sign up here. Those who would like to donate to the Pellinen family in Naoko’s honor may do so through Go Fund Me, or volunteer to take them a meal here.

Fellowship Meal This Sunday! // Join us after worship on Sunday for a meal arranged by our amazing Fellowship Team!

Seeking Volunteers // Mental Health Connect is an interfaith collaborative that works to provide community-based resources, support and education to improve access to mental health services and to connect individuals and families with the services they need. MHC Navigators work with a congregation’s ambassador to provide a direct link to the congregation as a whole and individuals within. If you are passionate about mental health, connecting people to resources, and helping plan events for your Redeemer community around mental health topics please contact Sara Hovren at sara@venturenorthbwc.org or by phone at (309) 826-8647. To learn more about Mental Health Connect check out their website at www.mhconnect.org.
