Winter Extravaganza 2.0 NEXT SUNDAY February 24th // Northside residents are invited to join Redeemer Center and Loppet Foundation at the new Theodore Wirth Trailhead (1221 Theodore Wirth Parkway) for the second FREE Winter Extravaganza on Sunday, February 24th from 1:30 to 4pm! Enjoy all kinds of winter activities like tubing, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing as we spread the word to our Northside Community about outdoor winter fun happening right in our backyard. All gear will be provided, free of charge, and refreshments will be available. Please wear your warmest clothing! Seeking Volunteers // Mental Health Connect is an interfaith collaborative that works to provide community-based resources, support and education to improve access to mental health services and to connect individuals and families with the services they need. MHC Navigators work with a congregation’s ambassador to provide a direct link to the congregation as a whole and individuals within. Thrivent Action Team Needed // A Thrivent Action Team can be used for a service, fundraising, or education event, and we’re looking for one right now for our upcoming Holy Hoops basketball season. A Thrivent grant provides volunteers with $250 of seed money to help with the event. A Thrivent Benefit Member can apply for two Action Teams each year. An Associate Member can apply for one Action Team.
