Epiphany Worship
Sunday, January 8th at 10:30am
The Feast of Epiphany (“manifestation”) concludes the Christmas season with a celebration of God’s glory revealed in the person of Jesus Christ.  In Isaiah and Ephesians, that glory is

proclaimed for all nations and people. Like the light of the star that guided the magi to Jesus, the light of Christ reveals who we are: children of God who are claimed and washed in the waters of baptism. We are sent out to be beacons of hope, sharing the good news of God’s love to all people. We will celebrate in worship with a service of Baptismal Reaffirmation, recommitting to the promises of Baptism.

Holiday Office Hours

Church offices will be
closed Monday, January 2nd in observance of the New Year holiday and to give staff restful time at home with family and friends. Pastor Jen will still be available for pastoral care, and you may reach her by email or phone as needed. We will return to regular office hours January 3, 2023!

Welcome Burning Bush Church!

We are excited to announce that we have welcomed Burning Bush Church to Redeemer! Moving forward, we will share our worship and office space with them. We hope that as you see them in the building and preparing for their Sunday afternoon worship services, you will embrace their vibrancy as part of our community! Check out this quick introductory video from Pastor Jen to learn more about Burning Bush and this new relationship!

Sanctuary Clean-Up & Reset

January 11, 2023 | 4-6pm

We need volunteers to clean our Sanctuary and prepare for the next season. We also have a funeral January 14th and MUST reset the space for this service! Many hands do make the difference, so lend yours! Contact Pastor Jen if you can help other times to continue reorganizing church liturgical decor.

Help Us Create
Meaningful Worship
We are looking for volunteers to read lectionary lessons (also known as lectors), and to serve as ushers and communion assistants each week during worship. The weekly worship service ("liturgy") is the work of the people, and is meant for everyone's participation, young and old! We welcome readers and servants of all ages.
Please contact Randy and Diana Romsdahl or Pastor Jen to sign up ahead of time, the morning of, or to ask any questions.

Emergency & Ongoing Support for Jasmine Greene
Jasmine Greene is a former Redeemer Center for Life staff member who joined RCFL and moved into Redeemer housing before the birth of her first son, Noble. She has since moved on to a family apartment in St. Paul and started her own wellness business. In November, she gave birth to her second son, King Neb, and is struggling to make ends meet between rent, maternity leave, and caring for two young sons as a single mom.  We are rallying behind Jasmine, Noble, and King Neb to see their immediate and ongoing needs met! Right now, she needs to pay January rent of $1028 by January 5th.

You may give directly to Jasmine via venmo: @JasmineGreene93 or give via cashapp through Amy Koopman ($AmyKoop) or payapl (ojyma@yahoo.com). If you'd like to deposit directly into her rent account, please contact Amy in the church office for direct deposit or recurring gift information. If you prefer to give via cash or check, you may leave your gift in the church office or give to Trai Dunlap at worship!

Let's surround Jasmine in love & financial support!

RLC Finances:
Ending Well in 2022
We thank you for your wonderful, generous responses to helping Redeemer in 2022. We are filled with gratitude that we have called a new pastor. As we look at 2023, we aim to tend and care for our people, tend to the Redeemer Building; make more investments in the community and plans for interns and other new opportunities. We pray, “God lead us, God guide us.” The Redeemer community is indeed generous! To continue to end well and be in the best financial position possible for 2023 we ask you to prayerfully consider whether you are able to make an extra offering towards Redeemer. Please reach out to Pastor Jen Collins, council treasurer Kelly Shumacher-Fuller, Treasurer, or council president Mike Tarras (612-231-8323) if you have questions about 2022 or 2023 finances!
