Open Streets Broadway Ave W
Saturday, September 10th, 2016 11:00am - 5:00pm
For the first year on West Broadway Avenue, Minneapolis residents will have the opportunity to explore and enjoy their neighborhood streets without the presence of motorized traffic at Open Streets Broadway!
West Broadway will be FREE and open to all for one, sweet September Saturday afternoon. A great opportunity to bring Northside Pride out in the streets.
Open Streets is a citywide project with events in 8 neighborhoods. Open Streets West Broadway is the North Minneapolis Open Streets, locally organized by the team and network of the West Broadway Coalition, building on the good work of the Lowry Corridor Business Association which hosted Open Streets on Lowry Avenue in years past.
Open Streets events bring together local businesses, families, and neighbors to bike, walk, socialize, play and shop in their communities in a car-free environment. Redeemer and Venture North will be represented at Open Streets, so make sure to stop by their tables!
Items needed for Vicar
Our new pastoral intern, Alissa Kretzmann, is getting settled into her apartment and could use a few more things to make the apartment 'complete.' If you are able to contribute or loan any of the following items, please talk to Alissa or send her an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks for considering helping in this way!

The Carnival is COMING!
The big top is going up and the members of the Carnival de Resistance is coming to Redeemer on Tuesday, September 13th. As a way to welcome them to their residency at Redeemer, we will be having a cookout on Wednesday, September 14th from 5:00-6:30PM. Everyone is invited!
Carnival de Resistance
All friends and neighbors are warmly invited to come and meet the Carnival Crew at a dinner on Wednesday Sept 14th. Then, come and attend free, family-friendly Carnival productions that will happen on Sept 16th, 17th, 23th and 24th. On each of these evenings, the Carnival Midway will open at 5 pm: visitors can get crafty at the creation station or check out clever twists on old Carnival games, get their face painted, enjoy sideshow acts, roving performers, and much more. Opening Acts begin at 6:30 and the Carnival’s feature productions begin at 7:30. These shows weave theater, music, dance and circus arts, that help us grieve the destruction in the world and imagine a hopeful future that listens to the past.
