Faith Matters Newsletter Survey
We are conducting a survey on the impact and content of our monthly Faith Matters Newsletter. We’d love your feedback! If you’re not a current reader, take a look through the current and previous issues at our website. If you are a regular reader, take the survey here.
Soul Food Sunday, October 29th
Sunday October 29th is our annual Soul Food Sunday feast, and we’ll be hosting free flu shots as well. Come for the food, fellowship, and get your annual flu shot! Fairview Health Systems will be offering free flu vaccinations from 10:00am - 1:00pm in the Church Library for anyone ages 6 months and above. Only shots will be offered, no nasal vaccines. Questions can be directed to me Beth Heinly-Munk at email@example.com. If you'd like to donate food to the dinner, email firstname.lastname@example.org for a list of needed goods
We’re Updating the Church Directory!
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be creating a new, updated Church Directory! For this, we need you and your family’s photo and information, if you wish to be included. Please send an email to Amy at email@example.com including as much of the following information as you’re comfortable sharing: A recent family photo, your names, birthdays (we’d love to know your kids’ ages!), address, phone number, email address. If you do not have or cannot provide a family photo, feel free to grab Amy Koopman after church or stop by the church office anytime Monday - Thursday between 10am and 4pm, and Amy can take one for you.
We Need Your (and Your Kids’) Original Artwork & Photography
We are trying something new in the upcoming weeks: Rather than using standard clip-art for our weekly bulletins we’ll be featuring congregant artwork, photography, and drawings. This is open to everyone - children, youth, adults. Please submit your artwork, photography, paintings, or drawings to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll do our best to use everything we get (and attribute your work accordingly)!
What is 2 ½?
That’s the number of months remaining in 2017. It is also the number of months you have left to use your 2017 Thrivent Action Teams and receive $250 to use in an education, fundraising, or service project for Redeemer and our North Minneapolis community. Use your imagination and tap your passions for an awesome project you and your friends would enjoy doing. For further information or to brainstorm some ideas, email email@example.com.
