Successful Soul Food Dinner
Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Soul Food Dinner a huge success! Thank you to everyone who helped with prep, serving, and clean up! Thank you to Dennis and Jill for the contribution of tables and chairs in fellowship hall. Thanks to this expanded seating capacity more the 160 people joined in worship and fellowship during our Reformation and at the Soul Food dinner celebration. Extended Voting Hours start on October 23rd. You are able to vote Monday-Friday from 7:00am-6:00pm, Saturdays 9:00am-4:00pm, and Sundays 12:00-5:00pm. There are multiple locations you can early vote at: Northeast Early Vote Center, 2516 Central Ave NE Downtown Early Vote Center, 217 S. Third St. South Early Vote Center, 1860 E. 28th St. North Early Vote Center, 2100 Plymouth Ave N New Members Celebration November 12th We are thrilled to welcome into membership: Dave and Nancy Olson, Deitrick and Amy Nissan ,Phillip Spoehr and Chuck Larson, Leslie, Josh, Lane, & Beck Olson, and Amy and Paul There will be a new member welcome during fellowship time following worship, Sunday, November 12. Anyone is welcome to meet staff, council leaders, hear about the non profit Redeemer Center for Life and share a brief tour of Redeemer ministries. Everyone wanting to know more about Redeemer and membership is welcome to attend. Prayers of Comfort We extend our prayers to Cheryl Beech and Jeff Stutzmann in the recent passing of a parent. Cheryl's father and Jeff's father share the comfort of being with God in their heavenly home. Women’s Retreat this Weekend The Redeemer Women will be traveling to Bay Lake Camp this weekend for the Annual Women’s Retreat. We ask for prayers of safe travels and community building, as we pray for the Redeemer community! Action Teams Receive $250 Seed Money A Thrivent Action Team provides $250 “seed money” for Thrivent members to use in a service, fundraising, or education project. You could use the $250 with the Christmas Store or for the Christmas Pageant Meal. For more information about Action Teams, go to www.thrivent.com and click on Making a Difference.
