Minneapolis’ Bike Score is 81 out of 100. Minneapolis has the most bikeable score among U.S. cities. Let Venture North Bike and Coffee Shop help you get on (or continue on) a bike to take advantage of this wonderful Minneapolis resource. For more information, contact 612-377-3029 or live-it@venturenorthbwc.org. Plus, don’t forget to donate used bikes to Venture North! What? Advertisements for school supplies already?! Sadly, as soon as the Fourth of July is over, the school supply advertisements begin. Why not take advantage of the sales to assemble backpacks of school supplies for children who may need them? Form a Thrivent Action Team to lead this valuable service project. You can use the Team’s $250 seed money from Thrivent to purchase the backpacks or supplies that aren’t donated. Please contact Mary Simonson Clark at development@redeemercenter.org or 612-636-5104 for more information. Contagious Generosity What is your passion? What community needs concern you? What would you and your friends enjoy doing? This is how to begin planning an Action Team. For information, visit Thrivent.com/actionteam or contact Mary in the Redeemer Office at 612-636-5104 or development@redeemercenter.org. Contagious generosity is a wonderful thing to catch!
