Redeemer Jump Crew (RJC)

Tuesday, 5:30pm @ the Peace Palace

-Redeemer Jump Crew (RJC) is a hip hop ministry based out of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Confirmation
Tuesday, 7:30 – 8:30pm in Fellowship Hall

-Youth (6th – 9th grade) are invited to join us for confirmation this year. We will be exploring Luther’s small catechism (with an edge), encouraging connections with faithful Redeemer mentors, and exploring what it means to be a person of faith in today’s world. We will join with Westwood Lutheran for occasional retreats and activities.

Speaking of Faith: Gay & Straight Conversation
Completed.

-This LGBTQ affirming bible study aims to bring many voices to the same table. Safe and honest conversation will allow us to share how God is moving in our lives. We will explore refreshing ways of looking at scripture, and ways we can continue to grow and learn from one another in God’s community.

Word on the Street: Current Events and the Bible
Thursday Nights 7:30-8:30pm @ Redeemer in the Library
Come join us for a lively discussion of current events and how they relate to our faith tradition. You will be surprised by the ways we can connect the Bible to our daily lives!

Guys’ Group
Wednesday, 6:30 – 7:30/8pm @ the Peace Palace

-A fellowship opportunity for middle school and high school young men to be in relationship and conversation about things relevant to them. Topics will include relationships, sports, food, faith, and whatever comes up.

Choir
Wednesday, 7:30 – 8:30pm in the Sanctuary

-All are welcome to join the choir, no experience necessary. If you love to sing, we’d love to add your voice to ours. Music at Redeemer spans a range of styles and genres from Classical, Gospel, Folk, and maybe even some Hip – Hop! Singing can uplift the soul and energize your spirits.

Girls’ Group
First three Thursdays of the month, 6:00 – 7:30pm

-For 8th – 12th grade girls. We are hoping it will be a relational group for young female leaders to discuss topics of importance to them (education, relationships, goals, etc.) through a faith based lens. Some female adults from the congregation are serving as mentors for the group.

Boys Basketball

Block Club: Quilting

-Sewing and quilting are valued traditions at Redeemer. These groups of talented people are always open for new or experienced sewers/quilters. Our ministry of sewing and quilts provides our loved ones with warmth in body and soul.

Moxie
Meetings TBA

-Quarterlife? Young Adult? 20s-30s? Our group for folks in that special time of their lives is a great way to meet others. Please join our Facebook group “Redeeemer Moxie!”

ISAIAH House Meeting
Meetings TBA

-Our faith tells us we are all part of one sacred body. Yet everywhere we look, our economic and political reality robs us of our dignity and leaves us increasingly divided and polarized. Beginning in October, ISAIAH will bring Minnesotans together for 1,000 house meetings in living rooms and church basements across the state. We want to hear your stories.
