Black Bike Week Ride leaving from Venture North on Wednesday
Venture North and Redeemer will host a Black Bike Week Twin Cities Sports and Recreation Ride, leaving at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, from Venture North Bike and Coffee Shop and returning for pizza at Redeemer Lutheran Church.
In the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30), what did the workers who were given two and five talents each do with those talents? They used them to make more talents; they actually doubled the amount. How could you and a Thrivent Action Team do a fundraising project to grow--maybe double or even more--the Team’s $250 seed money from Thrivent? Please contact Mary Simonson Clark at email@example.com or 612-636-5104 for more information.
Happy birthday to the bicycle!
The bicycle is 200-years-old! In 1817, Baron Karl von Drais invented a two-wheeled, human-powered device to which pedals and cranks were added. Although your bike is probably not 200 years old, it may be time to replace it or at least tune it up. Let Venture North Bike and Coffee Shop help you get a new* bike that is just right for you or tune up your current bike. For more information, contact 612-377-3029 or firstname.lastname@example.org. *Donate your used bike to Venture North!
